I think there’s a really neat idea behind this site. I like it so much I’m thinking about doing a non-english version of it.

I’m currently listening to Ancestor, one of Scott Sigler books/podbooks/audiobooks. From what you read around, Sigler appears to be the Chrichton of the pod-o-sphere. Well, the book it’s not half bad. I mean: it does sport paper thin charachters and a clichey story, but it’s well paced, full of action and (as stated by the author himself) lots and lots of violence. I think it’s the perfect stuff for an audiobook, it’s better to leave the “serious” books to conventional reading.
The book is available for free as podcast, as are his other works.
Here the first episode, in case you want to get a taste of it:

He didn’t write only the famous 4 Seasons. There’s more, and it’s really goood. Try this: Amor Sacro.

Tor is releasing one ebook per week, and you can get them by subscribing to their newsletter.
So far they’ve given away nothing special, but I’m notorious for being picky.
Here is the last one, Reiffen’s Choice, by S. C. Butler, in its cheesy cover full glory.
